A lot of work went into framing this Arabian Desert mixed media. The client requested that we float mount the artwork in the frame. This allowed us to created a deep bevel variation of our signature keyline mount, using a gold colour to complement the desert sand.
The frame choice was 100% bespoke, hand-finished, using a dark blue from Farrow & Ball. This worked particularly well with the night sky in the artwork. We had to build an extension to the frame since float mounting with a deep bevel required a bit more depth than the moulding could accommodate.
This ended up being one of our more striking, “statement piece” projects. The client was delighted when they came to collect it.
