Lockdown Update 4/1/2021
Following the Scottish Government announcing a full national lockdown on the 4th of January, both our Hamilton and Larkhall branches will be required by law to close from Tuesday the 5th, until further notice. We were intending to use a click and collect service while operating under the Tier 4 restrictions that were in place. Unfortunately this will no longer be possible while this stricter lockdown is in effect.
We know this is a frustrating way to start the new year, but we’ll be back as soon as the restrictions are eased.
Until then, stay safe. 🙂
Covid-19 safety measures:
We have carried out a Risk Assessment, and have implemented procedures which allow us to trade safely, and which also ensure that we’re following Government advice on social distancing and maintaining hygiene levels. Some of the front of house steps we are taking to look after you, and us, include:
✅ In the Hamilton branch, a maximum of four visitors are allowed in to the retail area at any one time. In the Larkhall branch, a maximum of two visitors will be allowed.
✅ It’s now compulsory to wear a face covering while visiting us. If you don’t have one, we’ll give you one for free.
✅ Our entry door will be locked, and a ‘knock and wait’ sign is displayed.
✅ If there is another visitor instore when you arrive, we will direct you to a safely distanced waiting area. There is a clearly defined staff only area which no-one apart from staff should enter.
✅ Door handles and touch plates are cleaned after we enter the premises in the morning, and then again after any visitor leaves the premises.
✅ Our card terminal is cleaned prior to every customer using it. We are happy to accept ApplePay or any other form of contactless payment, including bank transfer.
✅ We will wash or sanitise our hands before and after handling any work.
✅ Hand sanitisation cream is available for you to use if necessary.
✅ Before browsing prints (available in Hamilton branch only), please ask for hand sanitiser.
We will constantly review our procedures, and will always follow the latest Government advice in order to provide you with a safe experience while you are with us.
Thank you for helping to do your bit.
