One of our regular clients had the very specific requirement for framing two still life canvases. They were looking for a distressed wood effect on a traditional ornate swept frame, which is unusual to say the least.
The frames were hand made in England by artisan craftsmen, who still use the original 18th century Rosewood plaster moulds. These same craftsmen were commissioned to replicate the frames featured in the hit Tom Hanks movie, The Da Vinci Code.
