Venice Painting On Canvas

When it comes to paintings on canvas, traditionally framers would use a fabric slip to create contrast between the artwork and the frame. A more modern take on this frame stacking where we’ll use a smaller frame as a slip to contrast with the outer one.

This particular design was achieved using a combination that we’d never tried before. We think it worked well, and the client happened to agree.
