In 2014 the Tower of London marked the centenary of the outbreak of The First World War (WWI) with the commemorative art installation “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red“, which saw the moat filled with thousands of ceramic poppies.
A client brought one of these commemorative ceramic poppies in to be framed along with the information certificate. The above image we used was actually repurposed from the box that everything came in. A deep box had to be built on to the frame to accommodate the depth of the poppy. The red undermount and modern grey frame finish off the presentation nicely. The client was delighted with the end result.
